Fishing at Lake Nacimiento

Whether you are fishing off the dock at LandsEnd, jumping in a kayak or trolling on your boat. You can find some excellent fishing at Lake Nacimiento. Largemouth and smallmouth bass, carp, crappie, bluegill, and channel catfish can be found on Lake Naci. Scroll down to read Monterey County’s “How to fish” guide for our beloved lake. Look to head into the coves like Town Creek, Cantinas Creek, or Dip Creek for some quiet fishing spots!

White Bass

Enjoy white bass fishing from one of our Lakefront at LandsEnd docks or jump in your boat and troll in front of our peninsula for some amazing white bass fishing. Lake Nacimiento is know as the only lake in California that was stocked with white bass. The local fishermen will tell you one of the best spots for white bass fishing is from Bee Rock to Las Tablas. Our Lakefront at LandsEnd vacation rental property sits directly between the two coves. So even just fishing off our docks, puts you directly in the path of the white bass.

There is no limit on white bass, but DFG regulations state that, “at Lake Nacimiento (SLO County) where any white bass must be taken must immediately released into the water or killed by removing the head or cutting through the gills.”
